About Marion
She is a lover of books, her dogs Rocky & Allie, the outdoors, and (regrettably to some) New Jersey, where she grew up.
Marion is a recent graduate from William & Mary and now based in New York, NY.
Head of Marketing as a Wellness Ambassador
While employed at the McLeod Tyler Wellness Center as a Wellness Ambassador, Marion was in charge of the marketing and media outreach for the wellness programs and services offered. She conducted needs assessments of advertising for health services & programs to campus community, delegated design and posting tasks to a team of ten other WAs, as well as she, herself, designing dozens of flyers, brochures, posters, social media posts, and television displays. She was able to increase the Center’s Instagram following by 33% during her time as marketing head.
Freelance designer
Beyond her work on the Magazine and as a WA, she also loves to design commissions for those interested, most often decorative posters for personal use but also for an official Dartmouth College event. See some of her favorites above, including “The Alcott,” “An American Master,” and “The 1975, At Their Very Best.”
Creative director & design editor for Flat Hat Magazine
During her time as an undergraduate at William & Mary, Marion was part of the Arts & Culture publication Flat Hat Magazine as a creative director, design editor, style editor, author, and production assistant. As creative director, she oversaw project timelines for eight design editors and collaborated with the Editors-in-Chief to establish the issue’s vision along with proof, edit, and compile all page spreads for print production.
